A Day That Changed My Perspective

A Day That Changed My Perspective

It was just another regular morning at PPSU. I was rushing to class, coffee in one hand and my notes in the other. On my way, I noticed one of our cleaning staff carefully arranging fallen leaves near the garden. She was smiling while working, even though the sun was harsh. I stopped for a moment and asked her why she always looked so happy doing such a tiring job. She simply said, “Because every leaf I pick makes the campus beautiful for you all.” That small moment stayed with me. It reminded me that every role, big or small, contributes to something greater. Since that day, I’ve started appreciating the unnoticed efforts around me from security guards to canteen staff to classmates helping each other quietly. Sometimes, the biggest lessons in life come from the simplest people.
